One of a series of original pastel works on paper created during my residency at Rensing Center in Pickens South Carolina and then finished back at my studio in Kansas City. My husband and I visited Caesar's Head Park and walked the trails. I love how the path disappears into a beautiful maze of flowers and colorful trees. A granitic gneiss outcropping atop the dramatic Blue Ridge Escarpment gives Caesar's Head State Park its name. |
