faq for PURCHASING artwork
PAYMENT
I accept credit cards and PayPal online or via phone 816.304.7380, or cash in person.
All CREDIT CARD PROCESSING will show Art by the Yard as the company name. This is the name of my studio that I co-own with my husband, Richard Fritz.
ARTWORK PRICING
Artwork is priced UNFRAMED and per inch based on complexity of overall surface (surface intensity) and cost of materials used. *Industry discount of 25% is offered to certified interior designers and art consultants.
NOT SURE THE ART WILL WORK IN YOUR SPACE?
Send me a well lit picture of your room, I’ll photoshop my artwork image on your wall so you can get a better idea.

I would be happy to talk with you about your vision and needs. Given my extensive background in the print industry, wall graphics and other printables are possible. Email me your thoughts and contact info and we can arrange a time to phone, Skype or if your in Kansas City or St. Louis I would be happy to meet with you.
RETURNS OR EXCHANGES OF ORIGINAL WORKS OF ART
Returns or exchanges of original works of art are welcome if they are:
RETURNS OF PRINTED MERCHANDISE
Prints purchased on my website are produced by Fine Art America and any returns must be handled through them. They do however specialize in the highest quality print reproduction and have an excellent return policy. Here it is:
SHIPPING
If you are located within 20 miles of Kansas City, MO midtown I would be happy to deliver the work to you personally. Upon delivery I would be available to consult on placement and will hang the artwork if the wall surface is ready. I would ask in return to be able to photograph the artwork in your space and will ask for a quote from you on my service that I can use for promotion.
Original works of art are shipped flat UNFRAMED and packaged via UPS or FedEx Ground. (outside of delivery zone)
Original art will ship as early as the next business day however please allow 14 business days from the date of your to your delivery date.
DAMAGE DURING SHIPPING
In the unlikely event that your order is damaged during shipping you will receive a full refund or replacement if you provide all of the original packaging for the shipper's inspection.

- Returned within 7 days from the date of delivery.
- Arrive in the same exact condition as shipped.
- Include all original packaging.
- Please note, there are no exceptions to this policy.

- If you're not happy with a purchase that you made on FineArtAmerica.com, for any reason, you can return it to FineArtAmerica within 30 days of the order date. As soon as it arrives, they will issue a full refund for the entire purchase price. Please note - Fine Art America does not reimburse the outgoing or return shipping charges unless the return is due to a defect in quality.

- Prints are shipped by Fine Art America. Please contact them if you have any issues with your print or frame.
- Once your order is shipped we will email you your tracking number.
- Please include your phone number with your order so that if necessary, the carrier can contact you.
- For international orders, you are welcome to make a purchase and then arrange for shipping.
DAMAGE DURING SHIPPING
In the unlikely event that your order is damaged during shipping you will receive a full refund or replacement if you provide all of the original packaging for the shipper's inspection.
- The refund will be issued by the shipper as an insurance claim and not Michele Fritz or Art by the Yard.
- We will work with you to file a claim.
- Please note, there are no exceptions to this policy.
